IvyCap Endowment Program

One of the unique features of IvyCap fund is its Endowment. IvyCap Ventures allocates a portion of its profits from its funds to the alma maters of its investors. These funds are targeted to be used towards Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Over the last year funds have been disbursed to multiple institutes including IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee, which have used these funds to support building prototypes, grants to early stage tech startups, entrepreneurship activities etc.

Accelerating a Sustainable Future with IIT Madras

Our funds were used to support AgniRath, a solar car project by young engineers from IIT Madras'Centre for Innovation. In just two months, the team built a fully solar-powered prototype and became the only Indian team to qualify for the 2023 World Solar Challenge.

Empowering Innovation at IIT Kanpur

IITK used our funds to support Cute Brains, a startup from IIT Kanpurdeveloping assistive technology for children with dyslexia and dysgraphia. In partnership with the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), the team recently hosted a workshop in Varanasi to train primary school teachers on early intervention and inclusive education.
